Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Polarynthar website (polarynthar.com) and services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our website or services.

Services Description

Polarynthar provides professional training workshops focused on strategic decision-making frameworks, analytical problem-solving, scenario planning, and facilitation techniques for management professionals. Services include:

  • Educational workshops and training programs
  • Program materials and reference documentation
  • Information and resources through our website
  • Communication regarding programs and educational content

Registration and Participation

Workshop Registration

Registration for workshops requires accurate and complete information. Organizations registering participants are responsible for ensuring participant eligibility and commitment to attend scheduled sessions.

Participant Responsibilities

Workshop participants agree to:

  • Attend scheduled sessions as registered
  • Engage constructively with course content and fellow participants
  • Respect intellectual property rights in training materials
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary frameworks and methodologies
  • Use training materials solely for personal professional development

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content on this website and in our training materials, including text, graphics, logos, frameworks, methodologies, and documentation, is the property of Polarynthar or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.

Limited License

We grant workshop participants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use provided materials for personal professional development. This license does not permit:

  • Reproduction or distribution of materials to non-participants
  • Commercial use or resale of content or frameworks
  • Modification of materials without written permission
  • Removal of copyright or proprietary notices

Payment and Cancellation

Payment Terms

Workshop fees are due according to the payment schedule provided during registration. Payment methods and terms are specified in program agreements. Late payments may result in registration cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 30 days before a scheduled workshop receive full refund minus administrative fees. Cancellations made 15-30 days before the workshop receive 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 15 days before the workshop are non-refundable. Polarynthar reserves the right to cancel workshops due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, in which case full refunds are provided.

Rescheduling

Participants may request to reschedule to a different session subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 15 days before the original workshop date.

Website Use

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website
  • Interfere with or disrupt website functionality
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Collect or harvest information about other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity

User Content

If you submit content through contact forms or other website features, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content for responding to your inquiry and improving our services. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

Disclaimers

Educational Purpose

Our training programs provide educational content based on established business frameworks. They do not constitute professional advice specific to your organization or situation. Implementation of learned frameworks is at your discretion and risk.

No Guarantees

We do not guarantee specific outcomes from participation in our workshops. Results depend on individual application, organizational context, and numerous factors outside our control.

Website "As Is"

The website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, Polarynthar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services
  • Any conduct or content of any third party
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Polarynthar, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of our services.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
